Whitelist refers to the list of wallets that willl be able to participate in a presale or fairlaunch. Once the whitelist function is enabled, only wallets that are listed by the project presale creator will be able to participate in the presale. Connected wallets that are not in the whitelist uploaded by the project presale creator will see "You are not in the whitelist" when they attempt to participate in the presale.
You need to enable whitelist at first, to do this, you should locate the Owner Zone then click on the Enable Whitelist button.
In order to specify the addresses you want in the whitelist, you have to add from owner zone.
If you wish to revoke the access of certain addresses in the whitelist, you should itemise them and upload for removal.
To return the presale or fairLaunch to a public sale where everyone can buy, you have to click on the Disbale Whitelist button in the Owner Zone.
